Petit à petit

"Petit à petit, l'oiseau fait son nid." Little by little, the bird makes its nest.

I recently stumbled upon this beautiful French saying on an Instagram page I follow, frenchisbeautiful. I adore the French language. These words, both in French and English, resonated with me. They convey the idea that significant accomplishments can arise from consistent small actions.

In essence, when it seems like progress is slow and you're only taking small steps toward your goal, keep going—bit by bit or bird by bird, for my writing friends. Rome wasn't built in a day, after all. I believe that the universe sends us signs, and perhaps I was meant to come across this one at this particular time. It serves as a reminder that persistent effort, no matter how incremental, can lead to remarkable achievements.
